Jimmy Dale Jones of Avery, Texas passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at a Tyler, Texas hospital. He was 69.
Jimmy was born December 8, 1951 in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Charlie Earl and Melva Lea Harris Jones. He was a former Public Works Director for the City of De Kalb. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Cindy Watts Jones; and a half-sister, Evelyn Diane Cobb. He is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Shelby Jones of Garland, Texas, Jimmy W. Jones of Texarkana, Arkansas, David and Niki Jones of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Christopher and Haley Jones of Anna, Michigan; two daughters,Dawn Jones of Paulina, Iowa and Sheila Mack of Mountain Home, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
