Gene C Long age 86 died peacefully at his residence in Maud, Texas  Monday, October 26, 2020.  Gene was born January 13, 1934 in Maud, Texas to Pauline Stinson Long.  He was a rancher and loved working with his cows.  He was a member of Maud Friendship Church. At the age of 18 he became a Deacon and played the piano for the church up until recently. He taught piano to students at his home.  He was preceded in death by his mother Pauline Stinson Long and grandparents W. H. and Donie Stinson.
