George Hutson, of DeKalb, TX, heard “well done good and faithful servant” as he entered Heaven on October 22, 2020, after a life well lived.
George was born January 22, 1953, a surprise twin to his parents Jay and Emma Jo Hutson. He was a welder and jack of all trades that enjoyed tinkering with all types of machinery. He was a member of First Baptist Church, DeKalb, TX where he was a deacon. George loved tractors, swap meets and fellowship. He was always singing a song, most of the time one he made up. He loved to make people laugh and always had a corny “dad joke” to tell. He loved to fry fish and spend time with those he treasured. He had a servant‘s heart and worked hard his whole life providing for those he loved. His family was truly blessed to call him theirs and to learn and grow from his example.
