BONNIE REED
Bonnie Lou Reed, age 76 of New Boston, Texas passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 in a local hospital. Mrs. Reed was born January 2, 1944 in New Boston, Texas. She was a Homemaker, Caregiver, one of the first female Branch Managers for a Credit Bureau in the Country, Cook at the Manna Kitchen for years where she was known as the “Bread Lady” and member of the Chapel of Light Church. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Veronica Sherril McCord, Baby girl McCord, parents Henry Everett Reed and Elsie Odell Reed and five sisters, Patricia Annette Shelby, Lena Catherine Duren, Barbara Jill Marquard, Jerry Lynn Simpson and Mary Jo Hill.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen Dwain McCord of Wichita Falls, Texas, Eric Reed McCord of Carrolton, Texas, two brothers, Doyle Richard and wife Ruth Reed, William Eugene and wife Masako Reed, two sisters, Virginia Lou and husband Larry Lee, Rebecca Ruth and husband Richard Castaldy, 5 grandchildren, Brandon Reed McCord, Sammuel Austin McCord, Hunter Reed McCord, Wesley Hayden McCord, Erica Jade McCord, one great granddaughter, McKenna Ann Reed McCord and a number of other relatives and friends.
