RUMEL BRILEY
Rumel was born December 20, 1940 to the parentage of Gene McGowen and Elmer Stewart.
“Spook” as she was affectionately known was first and foremost a loving housewife to her husband “T Ray”. Most of her work included being supportive of her husband’s passion of baseball and softball. She never missed a game. Rumel “leisurely” remained unemployed throughout her life. She was kind, considerate and shared a love of music.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, and sisters.
Rumel leaves her precious memories to be cherished by a niece, Sue; two nephews Larry and Skip; a faithful brother-in-law, Lowry Briley (Deborah); and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Beaver Dam Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas with Rev. Michael Gray officiating.
Cremation was carried out under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
