Curtis Langford of New Boston, Texas passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 at a local care facility. He was 92.
Curtis was born April 18, 1927, in De Kalb, Texas, to James Madison and Gertrude Algerine Turner Langford. On February 11, 1948, he was married to Leta Faye Williams. He was a Carpenter and a Baptist. Curtis was a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Leta Faye Langford of New Boston, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Bob Nicoll of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two sons and daughters-in-law, J.R. and Vicki Langford of Vivian, Louisiana and Ken Langford and Kelly Bell of Mesa, Arizona; nine grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and numerous other family members and friends.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 2, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Pastor Gwan Garrison officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas.
