James Fred Davis, 83, of Hooks, died Friday, May 10, 2019. James Davis was a dairy farmer for many years, then worked and retired from Nekoosa/Georgia-Pacific.  Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mary Cecilia Marks Davis; six children, LeeAnn Derdeyn, Saundra Fitzgerald, Joy Kirsch, Jim Davis, Eve Sullivan, and Chris Davis, 25 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends. 

Memorial services and reception will be held at 10 a.m., July 13 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Texarkana, TX.
