SHERYL LEONA SARMAN

Sheryl Leona Sarman, of Ore City, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019 at a Gilmer, Texas care facility. She was 70. 

Sheryl was born November 28, 1948, in De Kalb, Texas, to Oral Lee and Lera Leona Hodgson Cooper. She was a homemaker and a member of Plantation Baptist Church 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Edward F. Sarman.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Annette and Matt Harrington of Caddo Mills, Texas and Kayla and Tony Reeves of Ore City, Texas; a sister, Lynda Groom of De Kalb, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leroy and Alice Cooper of De Kalb, Texas and Jim and Ruth Cooper of De Kalb, Texas;  4 grandchildren, Baylee Mallett, Dylan Mallett, Hannah Harrington and Brett Harrington;  and numerous  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Bro. James Boyd Strain officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas
