MORRIS WAYNE MORGAN
Morris Wayne “Red” Morgan passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at his home in De Kalb, Texas. He was 57.
Red was born November 23, 1961, in New Boston, Texas, to John Lois and Bobbie Jo Stewart Morgan. He was a laborer for West Tree Service in Texarkana, Texas and a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church in Maud, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Linda Labombard.
He is survived by his fiancé, Lisa Arnold of De Kalb, Texas; a daughter, Kacie Morgan of New Boston, Texas; a son, Brandon Morgan of New Boston, Texas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Tom Dansby of Pueblo, Colorado and Jo and Bryan Addy of Simms, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Robin Morgan of New Boston, Texas and Harold and Marie Morgan of Hooks, Texas; 2 grandchildren, Teanna Morgan and Molly Morgan; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Rev. Edward Miller and Rev. Steve Minter officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Simms, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas
