Lucille Smallwood, age 89 of Old Boston, Texas passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 in a local Hospice facility.  Mrs. Smallwood was born May 30, 1929 in Bowie County, Texas.  She was a homemaker, member of Moss Springs Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her husband, Hiram Smallwood, a son, Arthur Smallwood and a grandson, Donnie Smallwood.

Survivors include five daughters, Patricia Murphy of Texarkana, Arkansas Margie Vineyard of New Boston, Texas, Rachel Grooms of Lawton, Oklahoma,  Sherry Norton of Texarkana, Arkansas, Nancy Satterfield of Old Boston, Texas, five sons, Homer Smallwood of Marietta, Texas, Charles Smallwood of New Boston, Texas, Leslie Smallwood of Hooks, Texas, Hubert Smallwood of Simms, Texas, Hershel Smallwood of Simms, Texas, one brother, Chester Ray Brown of Marietta, Texas, one sister, Dolly Faye Wyninegar of Atlanta, Texas, 19 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, a number of great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
