SHIRLEY ANN KRUSE
Shirley Ann Kruse, 80, of Simms, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in Mt. Vernon, Texas.
Shirley was born July 27, 1938 in Corley, Texas to Bojie and Pearl Morgan Kemp. She was a Homemaker and a member of Word of Faith Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Brenda Barron and Sherry Kruse; and one grandson, Shorty Barron.
She is survived by her husband, Franklin Kruse of Simms; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Pam Allen of Lone Oak, Texas and Frank and Theresa Kruse of Keller, Texas; three daughters and three sons-in-law, Barbara and Jerry Roach of Simms, Texas, Debra and Leroy Barron of Mt. Vernon, Texas, and Mitzi and Scott Baylus of Sulphur Springs, Texas; two sisters, Melba Pool and Gail Walker; one brother, Carl Kemp; fourteen grandchildren, Cindy May, Heather Winstead, Hollie Allen, Amanda Lloyd, Kevin Gunnels, Cody Finney, Kristina Wallace, Jessica Finney, Nikki Kruse, Cheyenne Kruse, Kasey Barron, Shanda Brown, Aaron Baylus, and Colten Baylus; thirty great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Rev. Shannon Crawford and Rev. Steve Minter officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Simms, Texas.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
