ANNETTE SCOTT HANKINS

Annette Scott Hankins, of De Kalb, Texas, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 in New Boston, Texas. She was 57. Annette was born October 30, 1961, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, to James Roy and Claudie Mae Penny Scott. On July 4, 2002, she was married to James Michael Hankins. She worked in Highway Construction and was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas Ray Scott; and a cousin, Robert “Bud” Penny. 

She is survived by her husband, Mike Hankins of  De Kalb, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Ashley Sckittone of Maud, Texas and Bryan and Jessica Scott of New Boston, Texas; a daughter, Ashley Scott of De Kalb, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Donna Scott of Malta, Texas; 7 grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in DeKalb, Texas with Robby Bates officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
