DOSS LAMB
Doss Lamb, 72, of De Kalb, Texas passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at a Texarkana, Texas hospital.
Doss was born March 13, 1946 in Prescott, Arkansas to Lloyd and Dorothy Ray Lamb. He was a Butcher, the owner and operator of Big Daddy’s Donuts, S&L Auto Trade, Doss Lamb Sand and Gravel, and B&L Trading Post and a member of Gateway Family Worship in New Boston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and four brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lamb of De Kalb, Texas; three daughters and one son-in-law, Carla Brumett of De Kalb, Texas, Missy and Brad Brown of De Kalb, Texas, and Melisha Johnson of De Kalb, Texas; one son, Carlos Haddock of Mt. Ida, Arkansas; three sisters, Fran Sikes and her husband, D.C., of Breckenridge, Texas, Carla Jo Little of Fouke, Arkansas, and Libby Sevier of Fouke, Arkansas; one brother, Kevin Smith and his wife Lorrie of Fouke, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Bro. Shane Whitfield officiating. Interment will follow at College Hill Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas.
Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
