SAMANTHA LYNN DESMARAIS

Samantha Lynn Desmarais, age 41 of Texarkana, Texas passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Texarkana, Texas.  Ms. Desmarais was born September 26, 1977 in Bossier City, Louisiana.  She was a member of Redeeming Ministries in Texarkana, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bud and Sue Smith .

Survivors include her mother, Carolyn Smith of Texarkana, Texas, her father, Craig Desmarais of Athol, Massachusetts, her paternal grandmother, Catherine Desmarais of Athol Massachusetts, aunts and uncles, Lance and Georgia Blanchard of Lago Vista, Texas, Carlos Smith of Cleveland, Texas, James F. Smith of Texarkana, Texas, Glen Desmarais of Athol, Massachusetts, numerous great aunts, uncles,  cousins, friends and one special friend Scott Adams.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Bates Rolf Chapel, New Boston, Texas with Pastor Tony Murphy officiating.  Interment will be in Red Bayou Cemetery, New Boston, Texas under the direction of  Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston, Texas Visitation will be from 5:30 until 7:30 P.M., Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Funeral Home.
