HELEN SMITHSON
Helen Jeanette Smithson, age 68 of New Boston, Texas passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Smithson was born June 16, 1950 in Trenton, Texas. She was a homemaker and is preceded in death by her husband, Rodger Smithson.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters in law, Jimmy and Kathy Smithson of New Boston, Keith and Kim Smithson of New Boston, Melvin Smithson of New Boston, one daughter, Patricia Smithson of New Boston, one brother, Kenneth Holt of Durant, Oklahoma, one sister, Loretta Taylor of Sherman, Texas, 4 grandchildren,7 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Red Bayou Cemetery, New Boston with Rev. Kevin Holt officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston.
