John William ‘Bill’ Ellis, age 72 of Hooks, Texas passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 in a local hospital. Mr. Ellis was born September 7, 1946 in El Dorado, Illinois. He was retired from Wal Mart and a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sister, Alice Penrod of Hooks, Texas, two nieces, Lynn Cravens of Hooks, Texas, Anna Hogan of Mt. Vernon Indiana, one nephew, Sam Penrod Jr of Chulabista California, his long time special friend, Shirley Conway of Hooks, Texas and a number of other relatives and friends.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston, Texas.
