Billy Ray Irvin, age 71 of Hooks, Texas passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at his residence.  Mr. Irvin was born September 4, 1947 at Naples, Texas.  He was a retired mechanic and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Hooks, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Irvin, one sister Mary McElhaney, one great grandson, Wesley Clawson.

Survivors include three sons and three daughters in law, Dwayne and Tammy Irvin, Donny and Veronica Irvin all of Redwater, Texas, Michael and Megan Irvin of Los Angeles, California, one daughter, Julie Tingley of  Lone Grove, Oklahoma, one step daughter, Amy Graham of Hooks, Texas, one step son, Jeff Graham of Hooks, Texas one brother, Bobby Irvin of DeKalb, Texas, three sisters, Patsy Haggard of New Boston, Texas, Bonnie Bean of Hooks, Texas, Carolyn Salsman of Hot Springs, Arkansas, fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a number of other friends and relatives.
