Marvis Rene Allen, 65, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at her home in New Boston, Texas.
Marvis was born March 16, 1953 in Hope, Arkansas to George Wilson and Bennie Faye Watson Alsabrook. She was a retired teacher for James Bowie ISD and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Education Sorority. Marvis was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Simms, Texas where she enjoyed working with the Youth.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Howard D. Allen of New Boston, Texas; her mother, Bennie Faye Alsabrook of Dierks, Arkansas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sarah and Vince Hardage of New Boston, Texas and Tonya Allen of Texarkana, Arkansas; one son, Bill Allen of De Kalb, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Nancy Alsabrook of Dierks, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Haley Turner and her husband, Josh, Haven Hardage, Tyler Vanderlind, Kelby Allen, Zachary Allen, Dakota Cathey, Ana Allen, Wyatt Allen, and Luke Allen; five great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
