Virginia Starnes, age 73 of Texarkana, Texas passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 in a local nursing facility. Mrs. Starnes was born July 22, 194 in DeKalb, teas. She was a homemaker, member of the Church of God and is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Henry Starnes and a son, Gary Starnes.
Survivors include four sons, Nick Starnes of Texarkana, Texas, Danny Starnes of Redwater, Texas, Ricky Starnes Sr of Texarkana, Texas, Anthony Starnes of Texarkana, Texas, 5 daughters, Kay Dunham of Knoxville, Tennessee, Gail Herrington of Knoxville, Tennessee, Cindy Singleton of Texarkana, Texas, Annitta Gossett of Texarkana, Texas, Shelley Moya of Texarkana, Texas, 24 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Woodstock Cemetery, New Boston with Bro. Darren Faulknor officiating. Interment will follow in Woodstock, Cemetery under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston. Visitation will be from 6 pm until 8 pm, Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the funeral home.
