On June 8th we will have our “50th Anniversary Founder’s Picnic”. Evan Evans will give a program “The 1955 Rural Directory”. ‘The Spring & Summer 2023 Journal’ will be handed out, A ‘Silent Auction’ with many of the books from the Charles Steger Estate, The presentation of some plaques, door prizes, lots of good fun, fellowship, and much more.
The meeting will start at 12:00 noon, lunch will be served at 12:30 pm and the program will start at 1:00 pm, and we hope that as many of you as possible will join us for this picnic, and please feel free to bring a friend. The meeting will be held in our usual location, The Fellowship Hall of The Methodist Church of Queen City at Marietta and Fourth Streets, Queen City, Texas.
This is a “Covered Dish Picnic” so please bring a side dish or dessert. C.C.G.S. will furnish the entrée and the public is always invited.
