Waste Management Neighborhood Committee Awards Local Non-Profits Grants for the Community Efforts

In 2002, the Waste Management New Boston Landfill Neighborhood Recommendation Committee, led by Sylvia Williams, announced the creation of a Recognition Grant program for non-profit groups in the New Boston area.  Over the years, many deserving organizations have been the recipients of these funds.  Eleven Award Winners were chosen for their efforts in 2019 and were honored the evening of February 11th at the New Boston Community Center at 6:30 pm.   

There were many worthy projects submitted to the Committee for consideration.  These eleven projects were chosen because of their amazingly strong focus towards environmental enhancement for the local community while also benefiting the citizens of the community.
