The Bowie County CEP Arkadelphia 4-H Club participated in the annual county Cooperative Extension Program Bowie.Cass County 4-H & Youth and Adult Photography Show Competition in New Boston, TX, November 9, 2019. The photography event took place at the Arkadelphia Baptist Church in the historic Arkadelphia Community in New Boston, TX. 4-H ers and other locals from neighboring counties, participated in the plant show that is coordinated by Mr. Brandon C Hawkins, Bowie County CEP-Agent (AGNr); Prairie View A&M University and Mr. John Ferguson, Cass County CEP- 4-H Agent; Prairie View A&M University.
The Arkadelphia 4-H Club placed first and second place in categories such as Nature & Landscape, People, Domestic Animals, and Plants. Kalie Gunter received grand winner of overall placement at the photography show in 4-H & Youth category, representing the Arkadelphia 4-H Club. Kalie will be also entering her photos in the District Level Photography Contest.
Last year, Ammie Hill, Mary Hill, Chanaria Traylor, Triston Stovall, Chadyn Noels, and Isaiah Hayes also participated in the Bowie.Cass County 4-H & Youth and Adult Plant Show in New Boston back in July. They all received first and second place.
