Changing the face of New Boston - one house at a time. Jacob, Caleb, and Luke Stephens grew up just south of New Boston, and spent their childhoods riding bicycles through streets of town where some of the properties that were once well-kept have become derelict and run-down. When the Stephens brothers began to see this, they decided they could make a difference - and Stephens & Co. was born.
Stephens & Co. is the epitome of a family-owned and operated business. The three brothers buy run-down properties, tear the structures down to the bare bones, and completely renovate them inside and out, using skills learned largely from their grandfather, Dillon Anthony, who was a general contractor and owner of Anthony Construction. Jacob’s wife Brooklyn and Caleb’s wife Shelby help with the design, selection of materials and finishes, and stage the homes once they are completed. Even the guys’ parents get in on the action, with their father Brad being their go-to man for all things electrical, and mom Traci spearheading the landscaping. Despite all working full time jobs, the Stephenses are working on their fourth house, and closed on the purchase of a fifth just last week.
So far, the results of their efforts have been astounding. The before and after pictures on the Stephens & Co. Facebook page and Instagram account (stephensco_) are fit for any HGTV home renovation show, with total transformations inside and out, higher end finishes, and custom touches throughout. All three homes they have completed sold quickly after hitting the market.
