- Maud High School One Act Play won first in district with their performance of “Goodbye to the Clown.” Winning crew and cast were Brandi Thomas, Dayna Turner, Kim Conkleton, Johnnie Fredman, Lee Harris, and LaTonya Conkleton.
- DeKalb ISD’s Gerald Pinkham announced his retirement, marking the end of over 40 years in education, 38 of those at DISD.
