Five years ago this week, artist Allen Phillips, far left, gave some up close and personal insights into his artwork to a group of art students from DeKalb High School who visited the Arch Fern exhibit on dispaly at TRAHC. Students in the photo include Kayla White, Alex Montgomery, Elizabeth Dorman, and Cody Kiefer.
Phillips explained how he created his ideas in architecture. The group was standing in a mock up display of Allen’s studio that was just a small part of Allen’s Arch Fern exhibit at TRAHC. Phillips very graciously took time off from his busy schedule to meet a group of Brenda Smith’s Art Students and explain the variety of wall art, furniture and architectural details.
