In another busy week of district volleyball play, it was a week of highs and lows as both New Boston and Hooks fell to Atlanta but saw big ones as well.
Last Tuesday, the Lady Lions fell to the Lady Rabbs, but then rebounded to earn a win over the Lady Bears on Friday. In the Friday win, Jayla Rowden paced the Lady Lions with 10 points from the service stripe and 14 kills. Ava Littleton had 24 digs and Bo Hurst added 16 assists.
The Hooks Lady Hornets fell to Atlanta on Friday, but last Tuesday they hosted Redwater and swept the Lady Dragons in three by a score of 25-20, 25-20 and 25-21.
