The De Kalb Bears beat the Prairiland Patriots handily and added another win to the column, improving to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in district play. The Bears dominated the game and put up 54 points to the Patriots 16.
Winky Williams commanded the offense and completed 10 of 13 passes for 97 yards and a touchdown. Williams also rushed 17 times for 228 yards and four touchdowns. Dom Dunn followed with 10 carries for 132 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Blake Clark was the Bears leading receiver with seven catches for 24 yards. Hayes Murphy had one reception for eight yards and a touchdown. Walker Matteson caught a pair of passes for 46 yards.
