The Hooks Lady Hornets notched a big win last Tuesday night over the Lady Lions of New Boston as the two district foes battled for four sets with Hooks coming out on top by a score of 25-22, 25-20, 18-25, & 25-22.
Bo Hurst paced the Lady Lions in the contest with 14 points from the service stripe and 15 assists. Karli Strain also had 15 assists in the match, putting her over 600 assists in her Lady Lion career. Jayla Rowden had 16 kills up front for New Boston and Ava Littleton had 21 digs.
For the Lady Hornets, Anna Beth Black had 11 serving points, six kills and a block to lead Hooks and Alee Winniford had 10 points from the service stripe to go along with her 22 assists.
