Hey friends! I would like to talk about behaving in the way of Christ.
I have not written in a hot minute because we have been so busy, but I am back!
Behaving in the way of Christ means acting and speaking in a Christ like way.
This Sunday my volleyball team played in our final tournament of the season and we won it all! Sometimes we get frustrated at each other, but when we feel like that we need to ask GOD to help us act in the character of Christ.
Or say you’re winning big in a game or you’re doing very well at an activity, that does not mean you get cocky and rude.
You need to remain kind and have good sportsmanship. If someone messes something up or does something wrong that does not mean you yell and criticize; you encourage them and lift them up. It is important that you do not let a game make you lose your Christ-like attitude.
This can apply anywhere: at school, in your job, at the store, or in your own home.
Go out this week and be KIND AND BE LIKE JESUS!
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? HE WOULD LOVE FIRST and MAINTAIN INTEGRITY AND CHARACTER!
Harper Sparks is the 11 year old daughter of James and Mindy Sparks. She is an incoming 6th grader at James L Germany Middle School in DeKalb, Texas. She enjoys serving in her church through Bible school, children’s events, and church camps. She is the reigning Young Miss DeKalb and enjoys serving her community. Harper has one sister, Presley and a brother Whitt. She loves cheering on her Bears and Ouachita Tigers where Whitt plays football. She is a loyal friend and a life-long learner. She loves to read, write, and swim!
