Much more than a number and a name

What is the purpose of wearing a jersey? Are jerseys used to identify a player? Is it so we can be identified by the refs?

Although these may be true, you should also wear your jersey with pride.

When your community sees you do they see you, wearing your number with pride? Having the ability to put that number on should give you something to be proud of. When your community sees that number, they see you, but not just you, they see your attitude on the court, your hustle, your pride, your leadership skills, your passion, your humility and so much more.
