DE KALB KARES is an organization with a mission to honor our country all the while supporting the local community and providing scholarships to graduating DeKalb High students.
The organization has handed out thousands of dollars of scholarships over the years and has been a part of the fabric that makes up DeKalb fir a long time.
The organization is now seeking help from the community to keep its mission alive and to continue the work of those who founded it many years ago. As of November 6, the membership has dropped drastically and to survive as a club they must have people step forward to serve as leadership and guide the way for future generations to benefit from their activities. DeKalb Kares is in need of new members to add to its list of active members.
