Well, we had another one of those things that don’t happen here, happen here. By now most of you have heard that there was a bomb scare at New Boston High School last Wednesday. If you had not heard, now you have. It was another one of those days that just is not supposed to happen around here. It was another day that seems absurd when you talk to folks who have been here a while, because it was so out of the realm of normalcy. But yet, it happened, and those things that are not supposed to happen here… seem to be happening here more and more often.
It all turned out to be a hoax, perpetrated by some idiot with nothing better to do than disrupt the lives of good people in the United States. Some idiot in Amsterdam thought it would be fun to put a scare into a few folks in Texas.
But, despite the confusion, a little concern, and the inconvenience, all was well.
