A new addition to Bowie County Emergency Services District 6 will make transporting patients easier when precious seconds matter most.
A fully functional helipad was built behind the DeKalb Fire Department.
“This has put a very nice landing zone for any helicopter in the area that has to land there, especially LifeNet when we have an emergency for anyone in our community,” said Robby Barrett, DFD fire chief.
