The Dogwood Garden Club

The Dogwood Garden Club of New Boston is extremely pleased to announce that the Yard of the Month for July 2023 has been presented to the joint businesses of Joe and Darla Dike. Joe’s CPA .and Darla’s Tax and bookkeeping offices are located at the corner of Hoskins and N. Center. The grounds are always meticulously well-maintained and manicured. When asked who does the landscaping, Darla informed us it was a business venture between her and her son Ryan, called “Trim Tech.” There are several pink Crepe Myrtles in full bloom. Three Weeping Yaupons have been sculpted to resemble giant mushrooms (some say umbrellas). Anyone who has ever attempted to tame a Yaupon can attest to how much work it is.
