Grant opens the way for creation of new jobs for the region, brighter future
Officials at TexAmericas Center say the future of the economic development park is full steam ahead thanks to a grant to update the campus’s rail system.
Through a collaboration with the ArkTex Council of Governments, TAC applied for and was awarded a $1 million federal grant to fund upgrades. TAC also received funds to purchase two locomotives to serve their track.
