Acts 4:13, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.” (NKJV)
Two ordinary men that had been in the presence of Jesus, head over heels in love with Him, became extraordinary. Now that’s a sight right there. When people looked at Peter and John they could tell they have been with Jesus. These men were not trained up by a Rabbi, they had simply walked with Jesus. They were unqualified, unlikely men but they turned their life around and followed after Jesus. Therefore when people saw them they could tell that these men were marked and different because they had been with Jesus. Peter and John walked in the supernatural power of God.
They walked by a blind man sitting by the side of the road that the religious leaders had walked by for years. But when two men who had been with Jesus passed by and grabbed his hand, this once crippled man was completely restored. People marveled because the religious leaders and the rabbis had walked by this man and he was never healed. But Peter and John had been with Jesus.
