Thinking about raising honeybees but not sure where to begin? This is the program for you. Topics to be discussed include hive management; beekeeping equipment; considerations for starting hives; honey; and much more.
While not native to North America, honeybees are vitally important to the pollination of many U.S. crops like fruits and nuts. Almonds, peaches, squash, and cucumbers are just a few of the many different plants that benefit from the pollination services of honeybees.
