Hooks FFA has had an amazing year so far, This summer our officers had the great joy of meeting Temple Grandin in Dallas at State Convention. Our officers are pictured left to right Mason Carlow (Vice President), Laci Jo Petty (secretary), Kaitlyn Haley (treasurer), Colby Grayson (President), Jack Hale (Sentinel), Lexi Reyenga (student advisor), Kimberly Vasquez(historian), Colton Grayson (reporter).
Our Show team has travelled all over Texas and attended Four States, Heart of Texas, Fort Worth and San Antonio. At Fort Woth, our show team won Herdsmen for the 3rd year in a row. At San Antonio, Ehemi Vazquez won Reserve Supreme American Heifer and a $10,000 scholarship for being Grand Champion Grey Brahman heifer.
Our Trap team has been busy travelling, as well. They travelled to Heart of Texas, where James Moore shot a 97 and won first place in his age group. The team has, also, placed in many tournaments around East Texas.
