Galatians 5:16-17, “As you yield freely and fully to the dynamic life in power of the Holy Spirit, you will abandon the craving of this self-life. For your self-life craves the things that offend the Holy Spirit and hinder him from living freely within you.” (TPT)
Just like the old song says, “Trust & obey, for there’s no other way”, many people are frustrated with their life. They are praying for the Lord to get them out of situations, help move mountains, or make things happen for them. But the truth is, they haven’t completely yielded their life to the Holy Spirit. The Word says that as we completely, freely yield our own thoughts and opinions to the Lord. When we fully commit and submit our lives to the purposes and plans of God, then we will experience the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit working through us. We all think that we have a plan or strategy for life, but when we invite the Holy Spirit in at a greater dimension, He changes things. Many times, you are the only thing holding you back from walking in your destiny. When we try to please our flesh or do things that seem right in the natural, we miss the supernatural leading of the Holy Spirit. God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His plans are better than our plans. Why do so many people refuse to freely and fully yield their lives to the guidance and leading of the Holy Spirit? There are certain things people do to offend or hinder the Holy Spirit. Nothing in our lives should hinder the Spirit of God. We shouldn’t desire anything that holds us back from having closer communication with God the Father. We should all want to walk in the full revelation of His love and blessings. Quit trying to figure everything out and learn to abide in all that God has for you!
We must crucify our flesh daily so we can live in a greater dimension in the Spirit. God wants us to walk in His fullness and to have the richest measure of His divine presence every day. As we daily take steps towards God, we are taking steps toward our destiny. Our true destiny is found in God. As we trust Him and submit to the process, we will complete our destiny.
