Friends are very important for many reasons. One reason is because you get to do life together. We are not supposed to do life alone! God puts people in our lives that we can grow with and enjoy life together.
You need good friends who will lift you up and pray with you and cry with you and laugh with you. But pick your friends wisely. You want people who will love and support you not tear you down and hurt you.
In the Bible, it tells of a group of friends who were determined to get their friend healing from Jesus. They were so determined they climbed on the roof and lowered him down through the ceiling because they could not get through the crowd. That took a lot of work and sacrifice. It was not easy.
