A new market in DeKalb gives shoppers a taste of simple Amish living. The Simple Life Market opened its doors for business on Runnels Street in DeKalb Thursday. The market is the work of two sisters and their husbands, Luella and Joseph Miller and Rachel and Joe Dean Yoder.
“We all grew up Amish and our store represents that and helps people live the simple lifestyle,” Joseph said.
The two couples began the process of bringing their idea to life in September.
