Out of 3,771 middle schools in Texas, New Boston Middle School has joined an elite group of schools within the state through recognition as a School to Watch.
“The example that New Boston Middle School is being recognized for is something that not many schools accomplish … which now makes them part of approximately 70 middle school campuses across Texas,” said Billy Pringle, deputy executive director of Texas Association of Secondary Schools Principals. Former state director of the Schools to Watch program.
“Think about that. Texas is a huge state. We have several thousand campuses that are right there at the middle level that could achieve this status, but there’s only 70 and New Boston Middle School is one of those.”
