Summer is just around the corner and with that comes the time of year for two major activities around the cattle operation, putting up hay for the winter and deworming the cow herd. Both of these important topics will be the focus of a program being held May 2 in New Boston.

This meeting is being sponsored by the Bowie County Livestock and Forage Committee with the meal being provided by AgTrust Farm Credit of New Boston. The speakers for the evening will be Drs. Vanessa Corriher-Olson and Jason Banta, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Specialist located at Overton.
