The Hooks Independent School District has nursed many successful community leaders, and a new rising star has gone above and beyond to continue the tradition.
Hooks High School’s upcoming cheer captain Abby Baggett recently launched a program to help mentor incoming cheerleaders.
The program titled “Bigs and Littles” is a spin-off of college sorority and fraternity traditions where an experienced member is randomly assigned to guide incoming first-year students.
