A former fire chief is facing multiple felony charges for theft and exploiting elderly residents at a New Boston assisted living facility.
James Milton Guyton, 64, is being held at the Bi-State Jail on four charges of exploitation of the elderly totalling more than $1,000 and theft of property.
The investigation into Guyton began on April 15 after the family of a resident of Autumn Wind notified New Boston Police Department that Guyton had taken money from their 87-yearold relative.
