When JD Hurst was 4 years old, she taught herself how to read to keep up with her mother’s literary passions. This profound skill would later evolve into a life-long dream; to become a published author.
Hurst is the author of four Christian romance novels. Her first fictional, called ‘Covertly Me & You,’ was published in May 2023 and her 5th devotional ‘Payton’s Pride’ is soon to be released.
“I always had a longing to read but then as a teenager, I got my heart broken and started pouring that heartbreak out on paper. I just wrote it as someone else’s story but then I realized, ‘Oh! That’s a real story’,” said Hurst.
