Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

This is one of the most powerful scriptures in the Bible about destiny. The Lord makes seven distinct remarks in this one verse. The first two words simply state, “Fear not.” This should be enough for us but the Lord graciously continues to speak. Then He affirms us by letting us know that He is with us. How in the world can we ever consider not fulfilling our destiny when the Lord is telling us that He is with us? The third thing the Lord says is, “Be not dismayed.” The word dismayed has 4 different definitions. The first definition of dismayed is to consider. You cannot even consider for one moment that you will not fulfill your destiny and hit the mark where God has aimed you. The second thing dismayed means is to inspect. You can never inspect the possibilities of not completing the call and destiny that God has on your life. The third definition is to ponder. Never focus you on the illusion that you will not complete your destiny. The fourth definition is to gaze. Never gaze upon the negative or listen to critical voices. A negative mindset and negative people will pull you away from the destiny God has for you.

In the second part of this verse, the Lord again states, “For I am your God.” Then God promises to strengthen us. I love the next part of this verse, God interrupts our silent thoughts and questions and says “Yes, I will help you.” God is affirming His children once again that He will keep His promise to strengthen and help them. Then the Lord promises that it is His mighty hand on our lives that will hold us up. Friends, God Almighty has spoken to us through this scripture. He is assuring us that He is with us and because He is with us we have no reason to fear. With God by our side we will not fail as we pursue our God-given destiny. I encourage you today not to fear! God will strengthen you and you will complete your daily destiny with Him every day. Remember, have no fear because the Holy Ghost is here!
