One of the longest standing businesses in DeKalb will soon get a new name and a new location, as Bowie County Equipment is set to become Nor-Tex Tractor and move to its new home at the intersection of Hwy. 82 and US 259 in the DeKalb Industrial Park.
The new home of Nor-Tex Tractor in DeKalb will be a state-of-the-art facility with close to 20,000 total square feet with 16,200 square feet under roof.
The name change comes as a decision to put all three of the company’s New Holland locations under one moniker, and the DeKalb store will join with Texarkana New Holland and the current Nor-Tex Tractor location in Sulphur Springs to all have the same name. The rebranding creates uniformity for the three New Holland dealerships, much like the rebranding of Texarkana Tractor to River Valley Tractor.
