TC to host Women in Workforce event

In the changing world, Texarkana College wants to let women know that male dominated fields are not off limits.

TC will be hosting their second Women in Workforce at the McCulloch Industrial Technology Center from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. May 30. The event is free to the public and open to all genders.

“We’re really trying to spread the word that women can do this. It may be a male dominant field but that’s just because we don’t feel like it’s broadcast enough that it’s possible. We want to let them know that it’s possible and show them that they can succeed in this field and it’s a great career path,” said Thomas Holt, director of workforce at TC.
