The following information involves work scheduled to take place on Interstate 30 in Texarkana this week and next week. Please keep in mind that the work schedule is subject to delays or changes due to unforeseen circumstances including weather.
Beginning Friday, May 17, the eastbound I-30 entrance ramp between Summerhill Road and State Line Avenue will be closed. Motorists that need to access eastbound I-30 will travel the frontag road to State Line Avenue, through the traffic signal and then enter the eastbound I-30 travel lanes between State Line Avenue and Jefferson Avenue. This work is expected to take two weeks.
Work continues at eastbound I-30 Exit 223 (US 71/ US 59/State Line Avenue) and along the frontage road.
